Financial expertise forged through experience

A career shaped in constrained environments
For over twenty years, I have worked with organisations facing persistent receivables imbalances and situations where cash flow becomes a constant management concern. This experience was built in demanding environments, characterised by strong operational constraints and limited room for manoeuvre.
These assignments took place across organisations of different sizes and sectors, in France and internationally, often during phases where existing frameworks were no longer sufficient to absorb the growing complexity of financial flows.

An operational foundation at the core of the expertise
This expertise was built early on through hands-on operational roles, spanning accounts receivable and payable, followed by collections and credit management functions.
This operational foundation remains a decisive asset today. It enables engagement across the full Order-to-Cash cycle, from day-to-day team realities through to cash steering, performance management, and financial governance.
Certain assignments also involved large-scale finance structuring initiatives, including the design and implementation of shared service centre models, with a focus on standardising Order-to-Cash processes, ensuring operational continuity, and securing cash flows.

Different situations, recurring mechanisms
With experience, certain patterns emerge. Difficulties rarely stem from a single issue. They most often result from a gradual accumulation of imbalances between processes, systems and operational practices.
These discreet, rarely formalised mechanisms are what make situations particularly complex to address and require a transversal reading of how organisations actually function.

A posture shaped through action
In such contexts, intervention is not about applying a predefined model. It focuses on clarifying priorities, enabling decision-making and restoring workable reference points, without adding unnecessary complexity. This posture relies on close proximity to operations and a deep understanding of the constraints teams face, in order to re-establish a clear and actionable framework in often tense environments.
It is this accumulated experience, built through real-life situations, that shapes the way I work today.
